OnePlus has begun teasing the OnePlus 16 on Weibo, confirming that its next flagship will run ColorOS 17, based on Android 17, and support a 165Hz refresh rate throughout the system rather than limiting the mode to games.
The company has not yet provided a launch date. The teaser does not confirm the display’s maximum refresh rate beyond 165Hz, although speculation has pointed to a possible 185Hz panel.
Recent certification listings are said to identify 100W wired charging support for the handset. Other reported OnePlus 16 hardware details include the following:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor
- 9,000mAh battery
- 200-megapixel main camera
The OnePlus 16 is expected to arrive ahead of the OPPO Find X10, which is reportedly planned for the autumn. A confirmed launch date, the full display specification and international availability details have yet to be announced.
