OPPO’s Reno17 Pro may bring an approximately 7,000mAh battery to a relatively compact 6.32-inch smartphone, according to a leak attributed to Digital Chat Station. If accurate, the battery capacity would be the clearest change for the next Reno Pro model, whose processor and cameras are said to remain close to the Reno16 Pro configuration.
The rumored handset is expected to use a flat 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset. Its camera system is reportedly led by a 200MP main camera with a large sensor and gimbal-style stabilization, joined by 50MP ultrawide and 50MP periscope telephoto cameras. A 50MP selfie camera is also claimed.
- 6.32-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate
- MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super processor
- 200MP main camera with a large sensor and gimbal-style stabilization
- 50MP ultrawide camera
- 50MP periscope telephoto camera
- 50MP front-facing camera
- Approximately 7,000mAh battery

The reported imaging hardware would largely carry over the Reno16 Pro setup, including the periscope lens, a feature still uncommon in phones with displays around this size. The alleged battery would exceed the 6,000mAh capacity of the Reno16 Pro 5G sold in some markets and the 6,700mAh battery used by an international variant in other regions. Charging specifications for the Reno17 Pro have not been disclosed.
OPPO is also said to be retaining the series’ dedicated AI-functions button and adding tools for Live Photos, Live video and photo editing. The company is reportedly considering support for an external teleconverter accessory, which has so far been associated with its Find X range. Earlier images said to show the standard Reno17 pointed to a redesigned camera module for the lineup.

The Reno17 series is rumored to debut in China in November 2026 with ColorOS 17 based on Android 17. An India release could follow in early January 2027, although the Pro model is reportedly not planned for that market. OPPO has not confirmed the device, its specifications or a wider international launch schedule.
