Just one day before Xiaomi’s big phone announcement, Oppo will unveil a new smartphone, that has some very appealing specs. Those include both a 64 bit processor and a series of multimedia features that even a flagship handset would envy.
The U3 comes with a 64 bit MediaTek MT6752 processor and it has been pictured in a series of teaser shots, that show it together with elegant headphones. The product recently received the approval of TENAA and it’s rumored to be the first 4x optical zoom handset. We can’t guarantee that will happen, but we do know this model will come with a 13 megapixel back camera and a front shooter with a LED flash.
Oppo U3 packs a 5.9 inch Full HD display, it offers an elegant design and has an interesting ridge on the sides. It seems to be incredibly slim and offers HiFi audio amplification, with a separate AK4961 audio chip, as well as 2 GB of RAM and LTE support. Pricing is not yet known and neither is international availability.
