POCO’s X8 series appears set to gain another member. The POCO X8s has surfaced in Geekbench and certification records under the model number 2609CPC5FG, with the listings indicating a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, 12GB of RAM and Android 16.
Its Geekbench result shows a multi-core score of 3,297. That is well below the 9,000-plus multi-core results cited for current flagship phones, although benchmark listings do not reveal the handset’s full performance profile or final retail configuration.
The model number has been recorded by Singapore’s IMDA certification authority, as well as the EEC and IECEE databases in Europe. The certification trail points to a broader release, with the POCO X8s expected in the European Economic Area, Turkey and Russia. In China, the device is expected to use Redmi branding, while an India launch has not been indicated.

The X8s name suggests it will sit between the standard POCO X8 and the POCO X8 Pro. POCO has yet to confirm its display, cameras, battery capacity, IP rating, pricing or release date; those details remain the key missing pieces as the model moves through certification.
