HTC may not be bringing us a new Mini model for the HTC One M9, but odds are that Samsung will, for its current flagship, the S6. A potential Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini was spotted in a benchmark listing today, as shown below.

The diagonal is the one giving away the identity of the SM-G9198 and the codename also looks good enough. This product runs Android 5.1.1 and it uses a 4.6 inch screen with a 1280 x 768 pixel resolution. Inside we find the hexa core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 818, clocked at 1.8 GHz, with the Adreno 418 GPU. This chip is familiar, since it’s being used on the LG G4, with good results.

Other features of the Galaxy S6 Mini listed by GFXBench include 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a main 16 megapixel camera and a front 5 MP shooter. The usual GPS, NFC, accelerometer and barometer are all on the list. This is a single SIM model and I have no doubt it will adopt the glass and metal design combo of the bigger unit.
