Razer has introduced the Wolverine V4 controller range for Xbox Series X|S and PC, led by the wireless Wolverine V4 Pro and the wired Wolverine V4 Tournament Edition. The headline hardware change is a move away from conventional analog-stick assemblies to contactless capacitive sensors, which Razer says are designed to address stick drift while delivering roughly 3,000 movement-resolution steps.

On PC, Razer rates the controllers for polling rates of up to 8,000Hz over wired and wireless connections, with claimed latency below 1ms. Xbox console polling is specified at 250Hz.
