Roborock’s F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 is a wet-and-dry upright vacuum designed to tackle dry debris, spills and stubborn stains in one pass. Demonstrated at IFA 2026 in Berlin, the new model combines 25,000Pa of suction with VaporFlow 2.0 steam cleaning, while Roborock claims up to 100 minutes of runtime in its most economical operating conditions.
VaporFlow 2.0 is rated to produce up to 5,000mg of steam per minute. Roborock says its internal heater reaches 180°C, while the separate WaveFlow mode uses water heated to 90°C for greasy messes. The company demonstrated the vacuum on a mix of juice, cereal, cola and baby puree; the machine cleared the visible debris without leaving an obvious trail of dirty water behind the roller during the demonstration.
The F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 uses a SensEdge AI Robotic Arm at the front. It lifts when the vacuum is pushed forward to help avoid shoving water and debris ahead of the roller, then lowers to clean close to floor edges. Roborock rates edge cleaning at up to 0mm on three sides.
Its DirTect sensor monitors floor dirt levels and automatically adjusts suction and water flow. A front blue light is intended to make fine dust, hair and other small particles easier to spot in darker areas. For hair pickup, the JawScrapers system guides strands away from the roller while a scraper maintains constant pressure against it. Roborock cites an SGS test involving 2,000 wet and dry 50cm hair strands in support of its claimed zero-tangle rate.
Handling is assisted by SlideTech 2.0, which uses two brushless motors to independently assist the wheels when moving the vacuum forward or backward. The body can pivot by up to 70 degrees. FlatReach 2.0 lets the machine recline to 180 degrees and reduces its height to 12.5cm, allowing it to reach under low furniture while retaining vacuum functionality. Roborock also says it can be controlled through the app when positioned deep beneath furniture.
The claimed 100-minute maximum runtime is based on Auto mode with the Eco suction setting, and Roborock says that can cover up to 780 square meters per charge. Steam use has a considerably larger impact on endurance: Steam Mode is rated for up to 30 minutes.
The docking station handles roller maintenance with high-temperature washing and steam cleaning. A rapid drying cycle uses air at up to 95°C and takes around five minutes, while a quieter drying mode runs for 30 minutes. Other listed hardware includes 33N of floor pressure, a 450rpm roller, automatic detergent dispensing and dimensions of 265 × 250 × 1,100mm.
The F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 sits at the more intensive-cleaning end of Roborock’s expanding F25 lineup, which already includes ACE models. Roborock demonstrated the device at IFA 2026, but pricing, release timing and regional availability were not specified.
