During the Hong Kong Electronics Fair that takes place between October 13-16, the Chinese chip developer Rockchip showed up a new amazing product that brings among other things support for Ultra HD displays that offer a 3.840 x 2.160 pixels resolution, this type of technology being found in TVs.

The name of this new processor is Rockchip RK3288, and among its specs we find support for up to 13-megapixel camera sensors, and support for 4K Ultra HD video playback. From the technical point of view, this chip was developed on the ARM Cortex-A17 28nm technology.

In this way, the four cores will offer a frequency of up to 1.8 GHz, while the Mali-T764 GPU will be clocked at 600 MHz. Beside this product, Rockchip unveiled the RK3066 model too that will be found on POS devices and the RK Nano C chip that will be implemented on wearable devices.
