Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Smart Tag 3, a redesigned item tracker that is 35% smaller by volume and 33% lighter than its predecessor. The company says the new design also improves energy efficiency, with battery life rated at up to 550 days, or up to 790 days in power-saving mode.
The tracker can share its location with other people, supports Android and iOS, and can retain location history. Users can also define a reference area and receive an alert when a tagged item enters or leaves that zone.

Galaxy Smart Tag 3 will be offered in black and white, with an aluminum-decorated button and dedicated attachment accessories. Samsung says it will initially launch in South Korea on October 7, with European availability planned for 2027. Pricing and availability for other markets have not been detailed.
