Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra as the highest-end model in its new Tab S12 tablet lineup. It stands apart from the Tab S12+ with a larger display, higher memory and storage options, and a front-camera notch. The tablet measures 5.1mm thick, weighs 692g and uses Armor Aluminum, while carrying an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Tab S12 Ultra has a 14.6-inch AMOLED display with Vision Booster, which Samsung says is designed to improve outdoor visibility and support more comfortable viewing. Its 11,600mAh battery is rated for up to 23 hours of video playback. An S Pen is included in the box, with Samsung claiming improved responsiveness over the preceding generation.
Samsung’s new Pro keyboard accessory uses a metal construction, a folding design and a magnetic attachment system. It also adds a dedicated AI key. The tablet supports Galaxy AI and can be used with Perplexity or Gemini, alongside Bixby.
Software offers and long-term support
Samsung is bundling a range of software and subscription offers with the tablet. Google AI Pro includes six months of access and 5TB of storage, while Photoshop is preloaded through Galaxy Picks with a four-month subscription valued at $31.96. Notability benefits are valued at $47.94.

Samsung promises seven years of updates for the Tab S12 Ultra. On the hardware side, the stated generational change from the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is the move from MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ to the Dimensity 9500 processor.
The Wi-Fi model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at €1,539, while a 1TB version with 5G is listed at €2,289. Broader regional availability and pricing have not been detailed here.
