Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, retaining the 14.6-inch format of its top-end Android tablet while moving to MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor. The slate is offered with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, includes an S Pen, and will receive major Android updates and security patches for seven years.
The tablet has a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 2,960 x 1,848 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It measures 326.3 x 208.5 x 5.1 mm, while the Wi-Fi model weighs 692g. Samsung has retained the small display cutout for the front camera, leaving the exterior close to that of the previous Ultra model.

One UI 9, DeX and AI features
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra ships with Android 17 and One UI 9. Samsung is continuing to position DeX, S Pen support and Multi Window as productivity tools; Multi Window can divide the display into as many as three work areas. Note Assist can automatically summarize notes, while the S Pen is included in the box.
One UI 9 adds a more customizable Now Brief, alongside Security Brief and Privacy Alerts features intended to provide more information about security, app data access and permissions. Samsung also includes six months of Google AI Pro access. Gemini Notebook can combine notes, images, recordings and files in one workspace, then generate summaries, podcasts or quizzes from them.
Samsung Browser gains AI features that can use the context of open pages, multiple tabs and browsing history to summarize information or locate a previously viewed source. Samsung says Adobe Photoshop is preinstalled, a first for Android tablets, and buyers receive four months of Photoshop Mobile Premium access.

Samsung will sell the Pro Keyboard and Book Cover Keyboard Slim separately. The aluminum Pro Keyboard includes a Galaxy AI Key for quick access to compatible AI assistants.
In Europe, the Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage starts at €1,539. The 5G model with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is priced at €2,289, with 512GB and 1TB configurations also planned. Sales start October 7; availability and pricing in other markets have not been confirmed in the provided details.
