Yesterday we informed you about the fact that there’s another 960 x 640 handset out there aside from the iPhone 4, with its cool Retina Display: Sharp IS03. This device will debut in Japan next month, with a yet unknown price tag and a pretty appealing list of specs, that gets detailed even further than yesterday in the following lines.

Also, we’ve come across a video of the device, making it look even hotter than we had presumed. Too bad that this seems 100% Asia material, so it probably won’t reach our part of the globe. Distributed locally via KDDI au, the handset runs Android and comes with the following features:

Display: 3.5 inch, 960 x 640 pixels, capacitive touchscreen
CPU: 1GHz Snapdragon
Camera: 9.6MP, CCD sensor, autofocus
OS: Android 2.1
Connectivity: WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
Battery life: 200 hours in standby mode, 230 minutes of talk time
Memory: microSD/SDHC card slot (32GB max)

Aside from these appealing features, there are also others, specific to the Japanese market: e-wallet function, digital TV tuner, business card reader, decoration mail function and  more. Here’s the video we were telling you about, detailing the smartphone:
