While the leaks of the Sony Xperia Z5 certainly don’t please us, it’s time to have a look at an interesting concept today. The Sony Xperia Z5 model rendered by Victor Cao has a solar panel at the back, providing the extra juice required by a Quad HD screen.

Dubbed as “the first solar powered charging smartphone”, this concept Sony phone has a 5.5 inch screen, using Triluminous and OLED technology. You can follow solarkraft for more information. Its body is made of aluminum and it adopts the unibody format. We’ve got a side power button, with a fingerprint scanner embedded, just like the Xperia Z5 leaks have been saying and at the bottom there’s an USB Type C Port, that has been left out by leaks.

The Xperia Z5 shown here runs Android M and has a very small earpiece, that feels like the one from LG AKA. At the back we find a brand new camera, with OIS, hybrid autofocus and 5x clear image zoom. 4 GB of RAM are included, 32 GB of storage and a 3500 mAh battery. Inside there’s a “new Qualcomm CPU”, hopefully not the Snapdragon 810 and the device looks great in Champagne.

This concept is certainly better looking than the real Xperia Z5, judging by the leaks.
