Sprint is rumored to be readying two new handsets: Sanyo Zio and Samsung Transform, that’ll apparently be available by October 10th. A Sprint tipster sent this info out to Phone Dog, so you’d better believe it. Zio was first spotted at this year’s CTIA in March, with an antique OS, Android 1.6, so we hope it was upgraded.
Also, Phone Dog claims that the same Zio featured (at the time) a pretty unresponsive touch display, but it might have turned into a decent mid-range unit by now. Samsung Transform might be a version of the Samsung Galaxy S, but we’re not 100% about that either…
