Today, Swipe Technologies, a company developed in California that sells tablet and smartphones in India announced a new phablet device on the Indian market, a device called Swipe Sense. This phablet comes with a 5.5-inch display and packs pretty good specs taking in consideration its low price tag of only $165.

Swipe Sense comes with a 5.5-inch qHD IPS display (960 x 540 pixel resolution), a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB space of storage, a microSD card slot, a 8-megapixel main camer with autofocus and LED flash, a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera, 3G HSPA+, WiFI and Bluetooth connectivity.

We also get two SIM slots with dual standby mode, a fingerprint scanner, a 3.5-mm audio jack, FM Radio, a 2.250 mAh battery unit and Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Swipe Sense measures just 7.8 mm in thickness and weighs 158 grams.
