9to5Mac has an interesting leak on its hands, as it reveals that Apple might release a lighter and thinner iPhone. This supposed iPhone 5 is hinted at by the cases pictured below, silicone accessories made for a thinner Apple smartphone.
The shape of the body reminds me of the iPod touch to be honest, so it could in fact be made for that device and not for the iPhone 5. 9to5Mac is claiming that the pics are received from a trusted source, that was spot on when detailing the iPad 2 before launch. Could it the same case maker with inside Foxconn sources that went to jail?
Rumor has it that case makers are already shipping accessories for the new iPhone, while we’re expecting the Cupertino giant to announce their product in August and ship it in September, if everything goes well.
