vivo’s Pad FE tablet has appeared in the UAE’s TDRA approved-equipment database under model number VP2601, providing an early indication that the device is being prepared for markets beyond China. The certified version is listed as a Wi-Fi model, with no cellular connectivity identified in the filing.

  • The TDRA certification for VP2601 was issued on October 13.
  • The certified Pad FE variant is Wi-Fi only.
  • A TÜV Rheinland record points to 5V/3A power input, equivalent to 15W.

The VP2601 identifier had previously been registered in the Eurasian Economic Commission database, adding to signs of a broader release plan. However, regulatory listings do not confirm a launch date, retail availability or the full hardware configuration.

The 15W rating has prompted speculation that the Pad FE could be related to the vivo Pad SE, which launched in April 2025 with 15W charging. The Pad SE has a 12.3-inch 2464 × 1600 LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, an 8,500mAh battery, a 6.8mm metal body and an approximate weight of 559g for the standard version. Those specifications have not been confirmed for the Pad FE, and matching charging power alone does not establish that the two tablets share the same hardware.

vivo has yet to announce the Pad FE officially, leaving its display, processor, battery capacity, pricing and launch markets unresolved.
