Vivo unveiled a series of devices today and after debuting the Vivo V5 yesterday, now the Vivo X9 and X9 Plus are official, with dual cameras in tow. Also, they launched the XPlay 6 handset, that comes with flagship specs.

Vivo X9 is a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED full HD unit, with 1.59 mm slim bezels and an octa core Snapdragon 625 CPU inside. There’s 4 GB of RAM available, plus 64 or 128 GB of storage, a 16 megapixel rear camera and a dual front shooter, that involves a 20 MP + 8 MP setup. It’s got a fingerprint sensor upfront and it measures 6.99 mm in thickness.

A 3050 mAh battery is here, plus 4G VoLTE support. As the name says, Vivo X9 Plus is a bigger version of the X9, with a 5.88 inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen and it gets a superior CPU, the Snapdragon 653, as well as 6 GB of RAM and 128 or 64 GB of storage. It keeps the same camera setup (16 MP back, dual front cams of 20 and 8 MP), plus upgrades the battery to 4000 mAh.

Vivo XPlay 6 evolves to the flagship area, with a Snapdragon 820 CPU, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a 5.46 inch dual curved Super AMOLED screen with Quad HD res. This model also has a dual camera, but it’s placed at the back, with a 12 MP and 5 MP sensor working in tandem. The front cam is a 16 MP unit and we also get HiFi acoustics and a 4080 mAh battery.

Vivo X9 goes for $406 or $435 for the model with 128 GB of storage. The Vivo X9 Plus will receive pricing on December 26th, while Vivo XPlay 6 goes for $653. Sales start from December 12th.
