Xiaomi’s 18 Fold could arrive with a 6,000mAh battery, potentially putting it ahead of the 4,800mAh Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and the 5,300mAh Huawei Pura X Max on rated battery capacity. The figure remains unconfirmed, but it would be notably large for a book-style foldable, where internal space must also accommodate a hinge and two display sections.

The latest leak, attributed to tipster Bald Panda and reported by GizmoChina, also lists 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging for the Xiaomi 18 Fold. Xiaomi has not confirmed any of the battery or charging specifications. Battery capacity alone will not determine endurance, which will also depend on the displays, chipset and software optimization.

Some core hardware details have already been confirmed. Xiaomi has said the foldable will use its 3nm Xring O3 processor and LPDDR6 memory supplied by CXMT. Separate, unverified reports have pointed to an approximately 7.6-inch folding display, a 200MP main camera and a wide-format design.

The Xiaomi 18 Fold is scheduled to debut in China in September 2026. The key remaining question is whether Xiaomi will formally confirm the reported 6,000mAh battery and 67W/50W charging combination before launch.
