Xiaomi has launched the Pad 9 and Pad 9 Pro in China, expanding its tablet lineup with 3.2K LCD displays running at up to 144Hz, Qualcomm Snapdragon processors and HyperOS 4. The standard model starts at roughly €360, while the Pad 9 Pro starts at about €455 based on converted launch pricing.

The Pad 9’s 11.2-inch panel supports 12-bit color and the DCI-P3 color gamut, alongside blue-light reduction and flicker-free certifications. It also includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a 50MP rear camera and a 13MP front camera. Xiaomi rates the 9,720mAh battery for up to 14.5 hours of video playback or 20 hours of online meetings.
For the Pad 9 Pro, Xiaomi claims an AnTuTu score above 3.4 million for the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Its cooling system uses more than 22,000mm² of graphite. The display gains DC dimming and TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification, while its 1,000-nit peak brightness is an increase from the 800 nits cited for the Pad 8 Pro.
Both tablets support a keyboard and Xiaomi Focus Stylus Pro, and HyperOS 4 includes productivity applications described as closer to their PC counterparts, including WPS and CapCut Pro. Xiaomi is also offering Soft Light Edition variants with a screen treatment intended to reduce reflections.

The two models join the previously introduced Pad 9 Pro Max in Xiaomi’s tablet range, though they use Qualcomm chips rather than Xiaomi’s Xring O3. Xiaomi has announced the Pad 9 series for China; availability and pricing in other markets remain unconfirmed.
