The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max has taken first place in AnTuTu’s September tablet performance ranking, recording an average score of 5,233,432 points in AnTuTu V12. It finished 612,056 points, or about 13.2%, ahead of the second-place iQOO Pad Ultra.
Xiaomi’s XRING O3 chipset powers the leading tablet, paired here with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The chip also appears in the Xiaomi 18 Fold, which posted 4,620,886 points. AnTuTu attributed the Pad 9 Pro Max’s higher result in part to the larger 13.3-inch tablet chassis, which offers more room for heat dissipation than a foldable phone.
The iQOO Pad Ultra takes a different hardware approach: it is an 8.8-inch OLED gaming tablet with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor and an integrated fan. Behind it, REDMAGIC Gaming Tablet 5 Pro ranks third, while the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite, August’s chart leader, has fallen to fourth.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platform still accounts for nine of the 10 ranked models, but Xiaomi’s in-house silicon now holds the top position. The closest pairing in the chart is fourth and fifth place, where the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite and vivo Pad6 Pro are separated by only 9,192 points. The MediaTek-powered REDMI K Pad 2, the sole MediaTek model in August’s top 10, does not appear in the September list.
The figures are September averages collected in China and require at least 1,000 valid benchmark runs for inclusion. They also cannot be directly compared with August’s AnTuTu V11 results, so the ranking change confirms Lenovo’s loss of the lead but not a like-for-like performance gain between benchmark versions. International availability and pricing for the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max remain unconfirmed.
