ZTE has been very present in the news lately, with a few new smartphones rearing their heads from their portofolio. The latest product from the Chinese company is the ZTE Grand S, that’s shown below and features an uninspired design, if you ask me.

This product has been released on US Cellular and it’s expected to be priced at $99.99, requiring the customer to sign a new two year contract with the carrier. ZTE Grand S Pro comes with a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU clocked at 2.3 GHz. The handset packs a 5 inch display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and a 13 megapixel camera at the back, with a special Pro Mode, that allows more professional like photographs to be taken.

There’s also a front facing 2 megapixel camera, a 2300 mAh battery and LTE connectivity. The phone can be your off contract for $249.99, by the way. I’m really curious about that Snapdragon CPU, since at first sight I’d say it’s a Snapdragon 400, but with this high frequency it may as well be another version, maybe the S600?
