There’s a new small handset in town and while it’s a 4 incher, it doesn’t plan to compete with the iPhone SE. This one is a budget model, dubbed Panasonic T44 Lite and it comes with a mere $47 price tag.

The device is sold exclusively from Snapdeal and it’s a dual SIM machine with Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the OS. It offers a 4 inch 800 x 480 pixel display and relies on a quad core MediaTek CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz. One can only hope it’s a 64 bit CPU… There’s also 512 MB of RAM on board, 8 GB of storage and a microSD card slot.

We also get a 2 MP back camera, 0.3 MP front shooter and a 2400 mAh battery, that sounds quite generous. This model is said to offer up to 20 hours of 2G talk time and up to 400 hours of standby. On the connectivity front there’s 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth, but no trace of 4G. This model comes in rose gold, champagne gold and electric blue.
