On May 6th, ZTE has a press event scheduled, during which it will unveil the flagship Nubia Z9 handset. Well, that handset has just been certified by the Chinese authority TENAA, meaning it has the approval to launch locally.

The phone has been increasing its fame over the past weeks, through a series of leaks that seemed to show the device without screen borders, or with curved edges. The TENAA listing also seems to keep the curved edges, if you look closely. Codenamed NX508J, the product comes with a 5.15 inch Full HD screen, an octa core 3.15 GHz processor and an 8 megapixel front camera.

It measures 8.94 mm in thickness and weighs 180 grams. RAM is listed as 8GB, which is crazy and OS is Android 5.0. The main camera is shown as “more than 8 megapixels” and the storage is 32 GB. We previous knew to expect a 21 MP shooter at the back and a Quad HD screen, but Full HD and curved should cut it.
