Dreame is broadening its hardware ambitions beyond robotic cleaning with the LEAPTIC Cube, an action camera that records up to 8K at 30fps. Shown at IFA 2026, the camera places the company in direct competition with established action-camera brands including GoPro, DJI and Insta360.
The LEAPTIC Cube also supports 4K HDR recording at 60fps and 4K slow motion at 120fps. Its listed hardware includes a 50-megapixel photo mode, a 155-degree ultra-wide lens, GyroSteady AI stabilization, Wi-Fi 6 and either 64GB or 128GB of built-in storage. Dreame rates it for underwater use at depths of up to 10 meters.
Dreame had previously presented the action camera at CES 2026. At IFA, it demonstrated a live feed from a unit mounted on a small train moving through a tunnel, while also displaying mounts and harnesses designed for helmets and pets. Pricing, release timing and market availability were not announced.
The company also showed several gimbal-camera concepts, including a Micro Four Thirds model and a dual-camera design with a flip-out display. These products remain prototypes: Dreame has not provided commercial names or launch dates for them.
Elsewhere in its IFA lineup, Dreame displayed the ChillLab Frozen Treat Maker, which is designed to make ice cream, granita and chilled drinks without pre-freezing a container. The company says its 360-degree compressor cooling system can produce frozen treats in around 10 minutes. Other kitchen products included the ToastControl touchscreen toaster, espresso machines, blenders and the Feast Dual-Zone air fryer.
Dreame’s home-appliance push also includes the L9 laundry series, comprising an AI Inverter washing machine and Twin Inverter dryer, plus the 524-liter FizzFreshCube refrigerator. The refrigerator has a SparklingBar system offering three carbonation levels, two ice types and an adjustable-temperature drawer. Whether the LEAPTIC Cube or any of the camera concepts reach retail remains the key unanswered part of Dreame’s expansion into imaging hardware.
