DOOGEE’s Blade GT Ultra takes an unusual approach to the rugged-phone category: it fits 16GB of physical DDR5 RAM into a 10.5mm-thick handset weighing 260g. The phone uses MediaTek’s 4nm Dimensity 7300 processor, includes 512GB of storage, and supports an additional 20GB of software-based RAM expansion.
The Blade GT Ultra also swaps the typically utilitarian rugged-phone look for a transparent rear panel with dynamic LED lighting around its cameras. The lights can be customized and configured to react to notifications, incoming calls, charging and music playback.
Its 6.72-inch IPS display has a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Camera hardware includes a 100MP main rear camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 32MP front-facing camera.
DOOGEE equips the device with a 5,500mAh battery and 33W wired charging. That capacity is modest beside the company’s larger rugged models with batteries reaching 20,000mAh, but it helps the Blade GT Ultra maintain a substantially more pocketable profile.
The phone runs Android 14. DOOGEE has not confirmed wider market availability or pricing, leaving those details as the key remaining questions for a rugged handset that is aiming to stand apart through both its memory configuration and illuminated design.
