Dreame has used IFA 2026 to show four experimental cameras built around motorized gimbal modules, with the most ambitious concept combining a mirrorless-style body with a claimed 100MP Micro Four Thirds sensor. The cameras are prototypes rather than announced retail products, but they point to a broader push by the company beyond its established home-appliance business.

- Gimbal Cinema Camera
- Triple-Camera Full-Screen Gimbal Camera
- Dual-Camera Flip-Screen Gimbal Camera
The Gimbal Mirrorless Camera is the headline concept. Dreame lists a 100MP Micro Four Thirds sensor, a zoom lens with a variable aperture reaching f/1.4, and 6K HDR recording at 60 fps. Its powered gimbal module can extend from the body and rotate toward the user, a design intended to pair mechanical stabilization with self-recording flexibility.
Those specifications should be treated as development targets for now. An identifiable commercially available 100MP Micro Four Thirds sensor does not currently exist, and Dreame has not publicly announced a launch date for any of the four concepts. Discussion at the booth pointed to 2027 as a possible timeframe, but that was not a formal product-release commitment.
The Triple-Camera Full-Screen Gimbal Camera carries a different set of headline claims: an ultrawide camera, a 200MP telephoto camera, and a 16-800mm equivalent focal-length range. The 200MP figure belongs to this triple-camera prototype, not to the Micro Four Thirds mirrorless concept.
Dreame’s interest in imaging is no longer confined to design studies. The company is also moving its LEAPTIC Cube toward commercialization as an 8K action camera. Whether the more complex integrated-gimbal designs can reach production—and how much of their claimed hardware will survive that process—remains the key question for the 2027 horizon.
