Xiaomi’s global REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G brings an unusually large 8,340mAh silicon-carbon battery to an 8.6mm-thick phone weighing 223g. The handset supports 67W wired charging and can deliver up to 22.5W of reverse charging over USB-C, allowing it to charge compatible accessories or another phone.

The phone sits below the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G in Xiaomi’s lineup. Its global battery capacity is lower than the 9,000mAh version initially introduced in certain Asian markets, while the European Pro Max model carries a 9,210mAh cell. Memory options listed for European variants are 6GB of RAM with 256GB of storage and 8GB with 512GB, using LPDDR4X memory and UFS 3.1 storage; a 128GB UFS 2.2 version is offered in other markets.

The camera system uses a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera and a 16MP front camera. Dual Video can record with the main and front cameras simultaneously.
