Redmi has introduced the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G in Europe, pairing an unusually large 8,340mAh silicon-carbon battery with IP66 and IP68 dust and water resistance. The phone supports 67W HyperCharge wired charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging, while Xiaomi says the battery can deliver more than two days of use.
The handset has a 6.83-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display with a 2772 x 1280 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness. The panel supports the DCI-P3 color gamut and Wet Touch 2.0 input for use with wet fingers. It also carries TÜV Rheinland certifications covering reduced blue light, circadian-friendly use and flicker reduction.
Redmi says the phone uses its Titan construction, with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 over the display and claimed resistance to drops from up to 3 meters. It measures 163.45 x 78.27 x 8.6mm and weighs 223g. Color options include Black, Purple and Sky Blue, with Satin Orange offered in selected markets.
