Nubia has launched the LiveClip 2 open-ear wireless earbuds in China, claiming up to 6.5 hours of playback per charge and up to 30 hours with their charging case. The new model uses 11mm drivers and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, while its transparent smoky-black case adds RGB lighting with three effects.
The earbuds use a C-shaped clip-on structure made from memory metal and soft, skin-friendly silicone, keeping them outside the ear canal. Each earbud weighs 5 grams and is designed to withstand sweat and light moisture, though Nubia has not specified an IP rating.
Inside, the LiveClip 2 uses 11mm drivers with titanium composite diaphragms. Nubia rates the Bluetooth connection for a range of about 10 meters. Users can also activate an AI voice assistant by pressing and holding either earbud for two seconds.
Each earbud has a 35mAh battery, while the USB-C charging case carries a 300mAh cell and measures 62 x 62 x 30 mm. Nubia is selling the LiveClip 2 in China for under €40, but has not confirmed plans, pricing, or timing for a wider international release.
