OPPO has confirmed that the standard Find X10 will pair two 200MP rear cameras with an 8,000mAh battery and 0.99mm symmetrical display bezels. The specifications bring several features more commonly associated with higher-tier models to the core Find-series handset.
- The main 200MP camera has an f/1.6 lens and CIPA 6.0-rated stabilization.
- The 200MP telephoto camera uses an f/2.6 lens and CIPA 7.0-rated stabilization.
- The Glacier battery is rated at 8,000mAh, with OPPO claiming it is designed to retain durability through five years of normal daily use.
- All four sides of the display will have 0.99mm bezels, marking the first time the Find line has gone below 1mm.
The dual-200MP setup was confirmed by Zhuo Shijie, product manager for the Find series. OPPO says the camera system continues its Hasselblad collaboration and adds a second-generation Danxia color sensor. The company claims up to 15 EV of dynamic range and a 43% improvement in light-capture efficiency.
Image processing will run through OPPO's LUMO engine, which is intended to preserve natural lighting, shadows and skin tones in still images, Live Photos and video. The high-resolution telephoto sensor could also provide more latitude for cropping and digital zoom, while its CIPA 7.0 stabilization rating targets steadier shooting at longer focal lengths.
On the front, the Find X10's 0.99mm bezels represent a further reduction from the 1.45mm borders on the Find X8 and 1.15mm on the Find X9. OPPO attributes the change to a chip-level packaging process.
The Find X10 series is also expected to include the Find X10E and Find X10 Pro Max. Current information points to a global expansion by late October, although OPPO has yet to confirm specific markets, pricing or full launch details.
