A render said to depict the Huawei Mate 90 RS Ultimate has surfaced ahead of the anticipated Mate 90 series launch, showing the flagship in a new red-and-white dual-tone finish. The design would mark a break from the more monochrome treatment used on previous RS Ultimate models.
The image shows a bright red upper rear section contrasted with an almost white lower panel. Huawei appears to retain the RS Ultimate’s recognizable octagonal camera module, along with four diagonal sculpted lines that carry over the visual signature of the prior generation.
The Mate 90 RS Ultimate is also rumored to return to a fully ceramic rear panel. That material choice has not been confirmed, nor have the phone’s full specifications.
Huawei is reportedly preparing five Mate 90 models, with a launch potentially taking place on September 28 or September 29. The wider lineup is expected to include a new-generation Kirin chipset, while the standard Mate 90 has been linked to a possible 200-megapixel camera sensor. Those hardware details remain unconfirmed ahead of Huawei’s announcement.
