Apple code reportedly references three upcoming devices: a new iPad mini, a second-generation HomePod mini and a fourth-generation Apple TV 4K. The leak points to internal hardware upgrades across the lineup, although Apple has not announced the products or confirmed a launch date.
- The next iPad mini is said to use Apple’s A20 Pro processor and move its front-facing camera to the long edge for landscape use. Leaked imagery also appears to show a small cutout at the top of the display glass, which may be connected to a redesigned speaker system.
- HomePod mini 2 is explicitly named in the code, according to the report. Its exterior is expected to remain largely familiar, while color options may include green, pink, blue, white and black. A newer processor and Siri AI features are also anticipated.
- A fourth-generation Apple TV 4K is rumored to retain the current design while adding an A17 Pro chip or newer, 8GB of RAM, Apple Intelligence and Apple’s N1 wireless chip with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support.
The iPad mini may also receive an OLED display, a slightly larger screen and improved water resistance, based on earlier reports. Apple is reportedly exploring a vibration-based audio system for the compact tablet, though that detail remains unconfirmed.
For the Apple TV 4K, the reported processing and memory increase could enable hardware-accelerated ray tracing in games as well as the platform’s newer AI capabilities. A revised Siri Remote is also expected, but no design details have surfaced.
The references suggest the hardware could be nearing release, with an October introduction reportedly possible. Pricing, regional availability and whether Apple will unveil additional products alongside these three devices remain unknown.
