Nvidia could introduce its next GeForce flagship as early as 2027, according to a new unverified claim attributed to an internal company source. The report says the GeForce RTX 6090 may be among the first products based on a rumored “Rubin Client” architecture, although neither the architecture nor the launch schedule has been announced by Nvidia.

The latest report comes from Moore’s Law Is Dead, whose source reportedly says Nvidia is aiming to have Rubin Client ready for release in 2027 rather than slipping the first products to late 2027 or early 2028. The source further suggests Nvidia is working to complete the architecture as quickly as possible.

An initial rollout may not cover the entire GeForce RTX 6000 range. The RTX 6090 and a professional RTX 6000-series card are said to be possible early candidates, with the workstation product potentially reaching the market ahead of more accessible gaming models.

The claim also frames the timing as part of Nvidia’s expected response to AMD’s future RDNA 5-based high-end Radeon hardware. However, industry leaker kopite7kimi and other sources have reportedly questioned whether a 2027 launch is realistic.

There are no reliable technical details yet on the RTX 6090’s GPU configuration, memory, power consumption or pricing. Until Nvidia confirms Rubin Client and its consumer product plans, both the proposed 2027 launch window and the order of the lineup remain speculative.
