Samsung’s rumored Galaxy Studio over-ear headphones appear to feature ear cups that rotate into a flat position, according to FCC documentation for a device identified as SM-U700. The design could make the headphones easier to pack, although the filing does not indicate that the headband itself folds.

The flat-ear-cup position is visible in an image intended to show the placement of the product’s regulatory label. The SM-U700 has also passed South Korea’s RRA certification, adding to signs that Samsung is preparing a return to the over-ear wireless-headphone category after focusing for years on Galaxy Buds models.

The regulatory material lists Bluetooth and Bluetooth LE connectivity, with 1 Mbps, 2 Mbps and 3 Mbps transfer rates. Those figures describe the radio connection rather than music-streaming bitrate. Beige and black are the color options currently reported for the headphones.

The Galaxy Studio name and an early-2027 launch alongside the Galaxy S27 series remain unconfirmed. SamMobile expects the headphones to support Bluetooth 6.x, active noise cancellation, and AAC, LC3 and SSC UHQ codecs, but Samsung has yet to announce the product or its full specifications.
