Huawei has launched the Qingyun HM650, a desktop PC that runs the enterprise edition of HarmonyOS and targets corporate and institutional deployments in China. Unveiled at the HarmonyOS Office Industry Summit 2026, the system is positioned for government, finance, energy and industrial organizations. Huawei says every component in the product is manufactured in China.

The HM650 is powered by Huawei’s Kirin X90, a 10-core, 20-thread processor with Maleoon graphics and a dedicated NPU for AI workloads. Its two-level cooling design is intended to sustain the chip at a 40W TDP; that figure refers to the processor’s thermal budget rather than the power draw of the entire PC.

Huawei is emphasizing multitasking, large-document work and professional software support. The HarmonyOS ecosystem already includes adapted versions of applications for CAD and 3D modeling, according to the company.

  • A dedicated keyboard key opens Huawei’s Celia assistant for information search, document processing, presentation creation and meeting transcription.
  • Separate personal and work spaces are designed to isolate data, networks and connected peripherals within an organization.
  • Star Shield 2.0 handles security through data encryption, permission controls and detection of AI-altered faces and voices.

  • The desktop measures 293 × 93 × 315.5 mm and weighs about 3.6 kg in a configuration without an optical drive or hard disk.
  • It uses LPDDR5 memory and SSD storage, while selected configurations can add an HDD.
  • Connectivity includes a front USB-C port, seven USB-A ports in total, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort and audio jacks.

Huawei’s product page lists the machine as running HarmonyOS V1.0 Enterprise Edition. The Qingyun HM650 is being sold through dedicated institutional and corporate channels in China rather than mainstream consumer retail, with no wider international availability or pricing announced.
