ASUS’s ProArt P14 brings NVIDIA’s RTX Spark N1X platform to a 14-inch creator laptop, combining a Grace CPU, Blackwell RTX graphics and up to 128GB of unified memory. That capacity is designed to let the CPU and GPU share a large memory pool for local AI models and sizeable 3D projects rather than relying exclusively on cloud services.
The top configuration pairs a 20-core Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU carrying 6,144 CUDA cores. In a hands-on demonstration, the machine was used to run ComfyUI locally for image-to-video generation, including an AI-generated presenter created from a photograph. Once the application and required models are installed, this type of workflow can operate offline and on battery power, keeping source images and processing on the laptop.
The demo also illustrated the current limits of generative video: some attempts produced unnatural fingers or misplaced objects, requiring revised prompts and repeated generation. Local processing makes those iterations possible without consuming cloud-service credits, though results still depend on the models and workflow being used.
Creator-focused hardware in a compact chassis
ASUS lists the ProArt P14 at 1.48kg, with a thickness of 13.9mm to 15.9mm and a 90Wh battery. Its 14-inch touch OLED panel has a 2,880 × 1,800 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, an anti-reflective finish and stylus support. Peak HDR brightness reaches up to 1,600 nits, depending on the display configuration.
- Platform: NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X with a Grace CPU offering up to 20 cores and a Blackwell RTX GPU with up to 6,144 CUDA cores.
- Memory: Up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5X memory.
- Storage: 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD in the listed configurations.
- Power: 90Wh battery and 140W USB-C charging.
- Ports: Three USB4 Type-C ports, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, HDMI 2.1 FRL, an SD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack.
- Wireless: Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
- Other hardware: Full HD IR camera with Windows Hello support, backlit keyboard and haptic touchpad.
The port selection is notably broad for a 14-inch system, retaining USB-A, full-size HDMI and an SD card reader alongside three USB4 connections. ASUS also includes ProArt Creator Hub for monitoring system resources, switching performance profiles and adjusting color settings. Its bundled software includes StoryCube for organizing photo and video libraries, while MuseTree is positioned as an AI-assisted creative tool that can start from sketches.
The ProArt P14’s core proposition is not just its compact design but the unusually large unified-memory option for local AI work. International pricing, regional configurations and shipping dates were not confirmed in the provided information; sustained performance, gaming behavior and battery life under long AI workloads remain to be evaluated separately.
