Garmin has introduced the Enduro 4, an outdoor-focused smartwatch that promises up to 90 days of battery life in smartwatch mode when using solar charging. The company also rates it for up to 320 hours in activity mode under solar-assisted conditions, targeting long expeditions and endurance events where charging opportunities may be limited.

The watch has a 1.4-inch MIP display beneath a solar-charging lens, with power-management modes that let users prioritize location accuracy or extend runtime during lengthy activities. Garmin is also adding training tools designed for variable terrain, including pace guidance adjusted for gradients, dynamic average pace that accounts for climbs and descents, and stamina metrics based on an athlete’s activity and training history.

Navigation is a major focus of the update. Garmin says the Enduro 4 has 50% more RAM than the Enduro 3, enabling map panning that is approximately 30% faster. It supports TopoActive maps across multiple continents, turn-by-turn navigation, ClimbPro, NextFork and dynamic round-trip routing.

A new Garmin Epic feature can combine activities completed across days, weeks or months into a single Garmin Connect story. It brings together health and performance data, while allowing users to add photos and share an adventure.

The Enduro 4 extends Garmin’s endurance-oriented lineup following the Fenix 9, with the company emphasizing battery life, trail tools and map performance rather than conventional smartwatch features. International pricing and release timing have not been confirmed in the available information.
