There are so many derived versions of the ASUS ZenFone 2 out there that it’s getting very hard to keep track of all of them. ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser has been getting a few variations of its own and last I heard the 6 inch version had 3 GB of RAM. Today an unusual newcomer debuted in India, a 5.5 inch version of the Laser with 3 GB of RAM.

Priced at $215, this model may remain exclusive to India, where it’s sold via Flipkart. ASUS already had a major rollout in India in August, taking preorders for the ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5 and ZenFone 2 Deluxe. This new ZenFone 2 Laser has a 5.5 inch screen, 3 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 615 processor, as well as a 3000 mAh battery and 16 GB of storage.

It offers a 13 megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus and a 5 MP selfie shooter. It measures 10.8 mm in thickness and weighs 170 grams, plus it packs a microSD card slot and offers a HD resolution. ASUS India said that this model will come in black, red and white. ZenFone Selfie also comes with 3 GB of RAM in India.
