T-Mobile and AT&T are both getting ready to have a piece of the BlackBerry Bold 2 pie, also dubbed Onyx. Turns out that both carriers will announce the handset on October 21 and we remind you that this device comes with a touchpad and it bears the 9700 model number, leaked before.

No info on the retail or launch date, but at least we’ve got these specs to drool at: tri band global 3G connectivity, a color TFT 480 x 360 pixels display, a Li-ion 1550 mAh battery, a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording, a microSD card slot, BlackBerry OS 5.0 and 256 MB ROM.

There’s also a full QWERTY keyboard on the features list, together with WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3.5mm audio jack and GPS.
