We all know that Motorola’s shifted towards Android, or so they announced a couple of months back, so the fact that they’re not launching Windows Mobile 6.5 devices is not puzzling anyone, even if all handset makers are going crazy with such launches these days.

To mention just a few of Moto’s new initiatives, CLIQ/DEXT is a fresh Android phone, as well as Sholes/Droid/Tao and I bet we’ll see more till the year end. While Moto won’t be touching Windows Mobile 6.5, it turns out they are waiting for WM 7, so they might be gearing a hot smartphone for the beginning of 2010, with Tegra on board and probably a cool Snapdragon CPU, as well.
