It’s been a while since I las saw a new BlackBerry phone and today we get to see a new model with a very unusual design. The newcomer is dubbed BlackBerry Windermere Q30 and it’s pictured below.

We’ve been hearing about this model for a while, but it has finally turned into a real thing today. These look like real pictures and not renders and boy are the specs good. The strange aspect about this model is that it’s supposed to have a QWERTY keyboard with 3 rows and capacitive buttons. It runs BB 10 OS and has a very square looking case. The Windermere features a stainless steel bezel around the device, pretty much like the Q10 and the previous Bold series.

The volume keys are placed on the right side of the device, while the left side is completely button free. As far as specs go, the BlackBerry Windermere Q30 relies on a 13 MP back camera, a front 2 MP shooter, a Snapdragon 800 CPU and a 4+ inch 1440 x 1440 LCD display. It also has 3 GB of RAM, a 3450 mAh battery and uses an Adreno 330 GPU. It will be very interesting to see the capacitive QWERTY keyboard in action.
