It’s a day of discovery today, as not only we got familiar with the UHANS brand, but also with the Blackview one. Thus, we unboxed the Blackview Ultra Plus in the video below. The device looks a lot like the iPhone 6 Plus and Blackview is a company founded in 2013 in Hong Kong. You can find the device on GeekBuying for $138, Aliexpress for around $120 and TomTop for $114.

The box is rather large here and hosts a LOT of accessories. We do mean it! There’s a charger, USB cable, USB OTG cable, manual, headphones, case, bumper case, protection for the screen and metal key for the slots. This phone measures 7.9 mm in thickness and packs a quad core MediaTek MT6735 processor. Aside from looking like the iPhone 6 Plus, this device also has a fingerprint scanner embedded within the round front button.

It even has a metal ring imitation of sorts. This model has a 2.5D screen with a 5.5 inch diagonal and HD resolution. It’s a dual SIM unit, with a 13 MP main camera and a front 5 MP shooter. It offers 4G LTE, Android 5.1 and weighs a hefty 177 grams. The battery is quite generous, at 3180 mAh and I look forward to learning just how close it is to at least 40% of the iPhone 6 Plus abilities, if not more. We’ll be back with a full review soon.

In the meantime here are the updated prices:
