Celly has displayed a non-functional mockup of Apple’s widely rumored foldable iPhone at IFA 2026 in Berlin, offering a physical take on a device Apple has yet to acknowledge. The model is based on circulating reports and renders rather than an Apple prototype, so it cannot confirm the final design, hardware or commercial name.
The handset is often referred to unofficially as the iPhone Ultra, while TrendForce has used the provisional name “iPhone 18 Fold.” The Celly model follows a book-style folding format, with a relatively short, wide outer body that opens into a small tablet-sized display. Its angular edges, visible display crease and apparent thickness should be treated as characteristics of the mockup, not of a finished Apple product.
Details represented on the model include volume buttons along the top edge, a front camera positioned near a display corner and a pill-shaped rear camera module with two lenses. Recent rumors have similarly pointed to top-mounted volume controls and a side-mounted Touch ID sensor, but neither feature has been confirmed by Apple.
Current supply-chain and industry estimates point to a roughly 5.5-inch external screen and a 7.8-inch internal display. The device is also rumored to use an A20 Pro chip built on a 2nm process and a pair of 48-megapixel rear cameras covering wide and ultra-wide shooting. A dedicated telephoto camera has not appeared in the latest rumor set.
Price could make the foldable one of Apple’s most expensive phones. TrendForce estimates a starting range of $2,099 to $2,299, with higher-end configurations potentially exceeding $3,000. Those figures are analyst estimates rather than Apple pricing.
Apple has officially scheduled an event for September 9, where the foldable is rumored to appear alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Until then, the name, camera configuration, display treatment and pricing of Apple’s first foldable remain unresolved.
