It’s true that since there are dozens of tablets out there, we find it hard sometimes to device what device to buy. The price is a very important factor, as well as the OS and specifications. The folks of Tablet Community made up a table, showing you pros and cons to some of the most popular slates out there and this topic generated some nifty discussions on Tablet News till now.

Yes, we know that the Notion Ink Adam is missing from the list and that 7 inch touchscreen units are not as loved by the Tablet Community guys, but this is still a decent source of info, if you want to spend money these days. The Xoom is at the top of the list, with 29 points and a $599 price tag, but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 scores the same amount of points, so it’s a hard call.

The Samsung tablet loses points in the storage section, while the Xoom is a bit too heavy and thick to earn so many points. In case you’re wondering, the iPad 2 is seventh, with 22 points and the incredible $499 price tag, for the lower specced unit. More info in the table above!
