DOOGEE is a Chinese brand we’ve been hearing a bit recently, thanks to their generous batteries on handsets. Today we learn that they just listed a new handset on their website, a model called Valencia2 Y100 Pro.
This product comes with a metal unibody design and a back cover that’s based on polycarbonate and sports an unique finish. There’s premium aluminum alloy in the mix and the product is slightly rounded. Upfront we find a 2.5D glass panel, with a display that offers 1280p resolution, 1000:1 contrast and 95% color saturation. Inside the Valencia2 Y100 Pro rests a potent MT6735 processor and this is a dual SIM dual standby phone with support for LTE connectivity (download speed up to 150 Mbps).
2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot are all available here. The handset runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with a custom interface, called DG OS. Apparently, this custom ROM reduces the amount of memory that the system uses and offers an acceleration feature. The back of the phone integrates a Sony 13 megapixel camera, with F/2.0 aperture, 28 mm wide angle lens and autofocus.
Selfies are taken with the front 8 MP camera and finally there’s a 2200 mAh battery here, with a fast charge feature.
