Anker has introduced the Eufy S2 Max at IFA 2026, a flagship robotic lawn mower rated to maintain lawns of up to 15,000 square meters. Its standout feature is an automatically extending side arm designed to trim grass along lawn edges that the main cutting system cannot reach.
When the mower reaches an edge, the arm extends outward and uses a trimmer to cut the remaining grass, with the aim of delivering an edge-to-edge finish without manual follow-up work. The S2 Max also uses all-wheel drive and is claimed to handle slopes of up to 38 degrees.
According to Anker, the S2 Max is the company’s first robotic mower developed entirely in-house, following its earlier collaboration with TerraMow. It does not require perimeter wires or RTK infrastructure for navigation, a setup approach intended to reduce installation complexity on large properties.
Extending cutting systems are emerging as a trend among robotic mowers shown at IFA 2026. Anthbot has demonstrated a comparable approach on its R7, while Segway Navimow has presented a similar feature on the H5 Pro. Eufy is pairing the concept with coverage aimed at the high-end, large-lawn segment.
Anker has not announced pricing for the Eufy S2 Max. The mower is expected to launch in spring 2027.
