Acer is bringing Packard Bell back at IFA 2026 with a new identity and a far broader product lineup than the brand’s traditional budget-PC focus. Marking 100 years since Packard Bell was founded in 1926, the relaunch introduces the DotBook laptop alongside audio products, accessories, a 4G feature phone and connected home hardware.
The 14.5-inch Packard Bell DotBook is positioned for web browsing, streaming and everyday computing, with a European starting price of €499. Acer has not yet disclosed its processor, memory options, battery life or available configurations.

Its new “Dot” family also includes the DotLoop suitcase-style vinyl turntable, starting at €149; the DotTune speaker; and the DotLine 4G feature phone, priced from €69. The lineup extends to DotLook audio glasses for music and calls, the DotShine circular creator lamp, the DotCombo keyboard-and-mouse set, and DotBass headphones starting at €29.
Packard Bell’s updated branding uses colorful dots and a logo that incorporates the letters P and B, paired with the “Tech It Easy” message. The positioning places the revived label below Acer’s established product lines, emphasizing accessible, colorful devices rather than high-end performance or AI-focused hardware.

Acer is also working with startup Steasy on a connected miniature steam ironing device. Initial European availability is planned for 2026, with the partnership expected to expand into further products in 2027. Hardware specifications and rollout dates for the DotBook and most of the wider Packard Bell range remain to be announced.
