Samsung’s Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ have surfaced in China’s 3C certification database, an early regulatory milestone that may indicate a faster flagship launch cycle in 2027. The listings identify the Galaxy S27 as SM-S9520 and the Galaxy S27+ as SM-S9560.
The certification also points to familiar wired charging speeds: 25W for the standard Galaxy S27 and 45W for the Galaxy S27+. Those figures would match their respective predecessors. Separate rumors suggest that 60W wired charging could be reserved for the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Ultra, but that has not been confirmed.
Timing is the more notable part of the new filings. Samsung’s Galaxy S26 devices reportedly reached the same certification stage in January before their February 25 announcement and March 11 retail release. The Galaxy S25, meanwhile, was certified in September 2024 and unveiled in January 2025. If the S27 series follows a schedule closer to the S25 generation, a January 2027 launch is plausible, but the 3C appearance alone does not establish an official release date.
