Battery components associated with the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra have surfaced in South Korea’s Safety Korea database, pointing to a notable capacity increase for Samsung’s next Ultra flagship. The listings show a 5,200mAh battery for the S27 Pro and a 5,700mAh unit for the S27 Ultra.
The photographed cells carry the part numbers EB-BS957CBY and EB-BS958DBY, which correspond with the reported SM-S957 Galaxy S27 Pro and SM-S958 Galaxy S27 Ultra model numbers. Both batteries are listed as manufactured in China by Zhuhai CosMX Power.

If the 5,700mAh figure reaches the retail Galaxy S27 Ultra, it would represent a 700mAh, or roughly 14%, increase over the 5,000mAh capacity Samsung has retained across several recent Ultra models. Samsung is also said to have evaluated a 7,000mAh prototype, but reportedly opted against it to preserve a slim design and the integrated S Pen slot.

Both models are reported to retain 60W wired charging, matching the charging level attributed to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. With Samsung reportedly nearing the end of the S27 series’ design work and potentially preparing production for December, the lineup is still expected to follow the company’s usual January-to-February launch window. Final charging specifications and launch timing have yet to be formally announced.
